The Hug is a robot designed to assist care receivers in transferring and maintaining a standing position and is not intended for long-distance transfer. For long distance transfer, please use a wheelchair or other means of mobility.

Caregivers should wear shoes or slippers.
Care receivers can be barefoot or with socks.

About usage environment and conditions

A
This robot is designed for people whose leg strength is weakening and who have difficulty standing up by themselves.
- Those who need aid moving between locations
- Those who can sit with a caregiver providing support with one hand
- Care receivers between 140 and 180 cm tall
- Care receivers who weigh less than 100 kg
Please consult with a specialized physician, physical therapist, or occupational therapist regarding the care recipient’s symptoms or physical faculties, as well as the caregiver’s physical strength or mechanical aptitude.
(The Hug is basically used by placing the care receiver's body against the cushions at the three locations of the chest, armpits, and knees. Depending on the physical conditions, those who do not meet the above conditions may still be able to use this product.)

It is not necessary. There are cases in which those who do not have sufficient grip and leg strength can use this product.

Hug L1WP is waterproof and can be used in bathrooms. (Waterproof grade: IPX-6)

Hugs can be used only indoors.

Do not use the Hug on soft floors where the casters would sink. The movement becomes difficult and there is a risk of injury from tipping over.
